The Greer Institute is organized for educational research and scientific application of Managing Director Melvin Greer’s theories on leadership and innovation. Its programs accelerate the maturation of today’s leaders and inspires future innovators.

Charitable Purposes
AI MINDSystems Impact's Charitable Purposes, via Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement with The Greer Institute:

  1. Provide education supporting health, financial, and technology literacy including understanding both individual cybersecurity and AI risks and opportunities for individual, family, and community empowerment. 
  2. Provide education on consumer data privacy, data use rights, health and social outcomes, and the economic potential related to personal data use. 
  3. Conduct and translate original and sponsored research. 
  4. Conduct evidence-based policy development and community advocacy. 
  5. Create responsible and inclusive data and ethical AI networks organized to improve clinical, population health and health equity outcomes. 
  6. Empower individuals, families, and communities by enabling the aggregation, curation, monetization, and trusted AI-assisted use of their self-sovereign identity, personal data, health information, personal AI, and digital twin. 
  7. Coordinate social good open-source software development and communities by leveraging blockchain, Web3, advanced privacy enhancing technologies, and decentralized, trustworthy artificial intelligence for the benefit of underserved communities; 
  8. Provide a treasury function for cryptocurrency and digital assets for the purpose of individual economic empowerment; 
  9. Offer tax-deductible donations and microdonations of data by data subjects and custodial institutions, given granular consent of data subjects; and,
  10. Create, orchestrate, govern transparently and inclusively, and oversee ecosystem-level systemic and structural interventions in healthcare, social services, life sciences, and sustainable development. Trustworthy and ethical AI, Web3 and blockchain, advanced privacy technologies, and other exponential technologies enable these interventions. Their aim is to create, scale, and validate new structural approaches that are economically and socially just, inclusive, safe, and trustworthy for achieving and sustaining population health, health equity, digital equity, and National security, resilience, and readiness in the United States and supranationally across United States allies and partner countries.
  11. Lead the creation and harmonization of necessary US National and global technology and ethical-use-of-technology standards to achieve Charitable Purposes (1) through (10). Emphasize standards from IEEE, ISO, W3C, US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), and the Government Blockchain Association’s Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM).
